The men and women of San Andreas Fire Rescue are dedicated to the fire protection and stewardship of the state of San Andreas and the Department provides varied emergency services in Blane County via contracts with local governments. Beyond its firefighting role, SAFR is an "all-risk" department. It may very well be a SAFR engine and crew that is dispatched to the scene of an auto accident, or to a home where a child has become the victim of a drowning incident. The Department is always ready to respond - medical aids, hazardous material spills, swift water rescues, search and rescue missions, civil disturbances, train wrecks, floods, earthquakes and more.
San Andreas Fire Rescue hires bimonthly out of the hundreds of applications received bimonthly, an average of only 50 candidates are selected and complete MVRP Regional FireFighter Academy. However with the rapid growth of the state of San Andreas. MVRP is expediting the hiring process for candidates to give them the opportunity to join and experience our community in a quick and streamlined process, sometimes getting people into events the same day they apply.
